Sagadawa Celebration, Tara Initiation & Continuation of the Lam Rim Teachings

 

Sagadawa Celebration - May 12 2018

Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm will be a day of celebration of Sagadawa combined with the continuation of the Lam Rim teachings. This year we will celebrate in advance because Rinpoche will be traveling on May 29th.

For the month of Sagadawa, the students of Rinpoche will accumulate 100,000 refuge mantras of Buddha Shakyamuni mantra. Sagadawa celebrates the birth, the awakening and the passage in pari-nirvana of the historical Buddha, Buddha Shakyamuni. You can, if you wish, bring offerings of flowers, fruits, candles, cakes and biscuits.

Everyone is welcome, but you must register by May 5, 2018 to attend.

Tara Initiation & Commentary

Rinpoche will be bestowing the 21 Tara Initiation in the afternoon of May 13th, and will give a teaching describing how to included Tara in students’ daily practice in the afternoon of June 9th

The initiation is only for Rinpoche’s students who requested the initiation to include in their commitments.
