Last weekend, Tsongkhapa Meditation Centre was blessed with the visit of Ven. Zasep Tulku Rinpoche.

Rinpoche began his visit on Thursday evening with a very well-attended public talk in Montreal. Almost a hundred people were present, both in presence and via Zoom. With great warmth, unparalleled skill, and precision, Rinpoche introduced the profound topic of Mahamudra to the general public, sharing memorable anecdotes from his life.

He then granted the rarely transmitted Buddha Saraswati initiation, the female manifestation of enlightened intelligence, eloquence, creativity, and wisdom, to more than a hundred practitioners both in person and via Zoom, worldwide.

This was followed by a deep and transformative meditation retreat on Shamata and Vipassana Mahamudra, filled with pith instructions and insights. It offered a most practical, intimate, and direct introduction to the subtlest nature of our mind—how precious!

Thank you, Ven. Zasep Tulku Rinpoche, from the depths of our hearts! May you live and continue to teach us for a very long time.

Thank you, Ven. Zawa Tulku Rinpoche, for allowing this marvelous event to happen. Even though you were halfway around the globe, we could feel your inspiring presence right there with us!

Thanks to the amazing sangha-family at TMC, without whom none of this would have been possible.

And finally, thank you to all those who attended. We sincerely wish that these precious teachings will bring to you and to everyone around you tangible and durable happiness, and we hope to see you again soon!

Yesterday at Tsongkhapa Meditation Center, we completed the Jetsun Jampa Tongchog puja (Thousand Offerings to Buddha Maitreya) under the guidance of our esteemed Lama, Venerable Geshe Tsultrim. The puja was attended by disciples and supporters from Toronto, the United Kingdom, the United States (with special thanks to Tenzin Drakpa la’s family), Singapore, and other locations via Zoom.

The puja went exceptionally well, and we are grateful for everyone’s pure motivation and diligence in participating in the puja. A beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky after the puja, a clear sign that the local deities were pleased with the ritual.

Thank you all for your continued support of our center. We are especially grateful to Venerable Geshe Tsultrim for his presence. The spiritual energy and aura that Geshe la radiates are truly beyond words. Geshe la is a profoundly inspiring Kadam master.

Last Sunday, we had the good fortune to receive the initiation to the Tantra of the Buddha of Compassion, Avalokiteshvara Simhananda, with Zawa Tulku Rinpoche in Montreal!

Thank you infinitely, Rinpoche, for your great kindness.
