Tsongkhapa Meditation Center is dedicated to the preservation of the Buddhadharma in general and to the preservation of the oral transmission lineages of the Gelug Tradition in particular.

 

The Gelug tradition was founded by the great master Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419). His precious teachings were further transmitted through an unbroken line of illustrious masters up to the present day, such as Kyabje Pabongka Dechen Nyingpo (1878-1941), Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang (1901-1981) and Kyabje Zong Rinpoche (1905-1984). Our current root and lineage masters are their direct descendants.
